Holons member Matt Butt will give a sonic piezo pickup workshop. Discover the world of the piezo, a tiny device which detects everyday vibrations which can be amplified and used in artistic expression. Attendees will learn how it works, how to solder all the parts together, and then explore the environment looking for sounds. The workshop will end with a celebratory sonic jam.

Entry is on a contribute-what-you-can basis, but we don't turn anyone away for lack of funds. We are aiming for around 10 people for this workshop, so please let us know if you are coming via RSVP'ing on the ticket link. If you have your own soldering iron, please bring it along!
