As part of Migration Matters festival we’re hosting an evening of talks and discussion about the politics of migration and what you can do to help end the violence done to some of the world’s most vulnerable people
and, of course, food.
Doors from 6
Talks from 6:30
Food around 7:30
Speakers including Stuart Crosthwaite, secretary of South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG), Robert Spooner from ASSIST and Nancy Esiovwa from Survivors Alliance.
Suggested Donation £10 but no one turned away due to lack of funds
Since we'll be celebrating migration to and from our city, we'll also be celebrating Sheffield's food culture through the dishes that have traveled to us from all over the globe.
Send us your fave vegan recipes (or vegan versions) from around the world.
Even better... if you're free on the 19th June and would like to volunteer to cook or serve your dish, then get in touch. Mark emails to foodhallproject@gmail.com 'FAO Migration Matters Meal'.
Foodhall's accessibility details can be found here: www.foodhallproject.org/accessibility
Suggested donation £10 - or whatever you can afford. No one turned away due to lack of funds.
