TV Dinners: Bikehall Triple Bill

  • foodhall / sheffield 121 Eyre Street Sheffield, England, S1 4QW United Kingdom (map)

Join us in your favourite community living room for a beautiful crossover episode between two of your favourite Foodhall branches!

After a delicious dinner and a chance to have a chat, we'll be screening three incredible films about all things bicycle related!

1) DIVIDED (2018) - 39 mins

In 2017, Rickie Cotter and Lee Craigie rode the Tour Divide, a 2745 mile self-supported mountain bike race from Canada to the Mexican border. Shot entirely using a Go Pro and an iPhone, this film documents the journey the two friends made in a way The Adventure Syndicate hope inspires and encourages the watcher to get out there and have their own adventure.
Fear of failure can stop all sorts of adventures before they even start but what if failing is the best part?

2) CHOCOLATE SPOKES (2017) - 6 mins

“You’re not investing in a bike; you’re investing in a relationship.” So says Gregory Crichlow, the bow-tied owner of Chocolate Spokes, a Denver bike shop he opened in 2011. Making a relationship with neighbourhood residents is something that gives Gregory pride. “As soon as you get a bike…your boundary expands a little bit because you can go farther.” From fixing a tire to building custom bikes, Crichlow has helped make Denver’s Five Points neighbourhood and his shop go beyond what anyone thought possible.

3) TALL BIKES WILL SAVE THE WORLD (2017) - 26 mins

Riding any bicycle is a positive step toward a healthy lifestyle and personal enjoyment, but it's the tall bike that has the power to change the world. The tall bike remains on the fringes — only embraced by the daring, the creative and the foolish. Join the Zenga Bros for as they explore how to build, ride and coexist on a tall bike.
